Eric tries to escape the Authority whether Nora likes it or not. Sookie actually says, “I’ll be fine once I wash the pig out of my hair. It’s not horrible, it’s not great. Some moments are pretty great in a very campy way I particularly loved the crazy-bad new villain Sweetie Desarts. But this episode was pretty unbearable, save for the first 10 minutes of a return-to-sassy-form Lafayette. The “Obamas” shifter assassins feeding Hoyt and Sookie to pigs?! The most boring time at the Authority ever minus a weird sex scene with Salome and Bill?!

This has become possible with the invention of a special drink—the eponymous TruBlood—developed as a safe means to replace human blood. Public opinions concerning vampire rights vary: The anti-vampire movement is also fueled by the fact that vampire blood is extremely addictive to humans and is known on the black market as the drug V. As a result, there exist drainers—people who earn their living hunting down vampires and exploiting them for their blood.
True Blood, Joe Manganiello’s talks about his character, Alcide Herveaux, in an interview with Vulture. He discusses a possible Alcide/Sookie hook up, werewolf nudity and his work outs.
More on that later. I wish they had shot the first scene of Alcide and Sookie in the cemetery before Joe Manganiello had cut his hair. That wig he was wearing was awful. Gotta say, he looks much better with the haircut, it was getting too long. Not sure what I think about Violet and Jason. He was basically forced into the relationship and he just went along with it. It was pretty funny when she beaned Jessica with the volleyball.
I totally saw that coming. He had already shown how bad he can be by the other things he had done this season. Killing all the fairies at the club, getting rid of Niall. He was trying to be good for Sookie but, most likely, it was an act to lure her in. His death pretty much answered my question about his blood. I guess, because he was a vampire, the effects of his fairy blood were permanent as long as he was alive.
‘True Blood’ Season 5 Episode 6 Recap
Harris weaves humor with an edginess that makes for taut reading. Hamilton and Joe R. Lansdale … Ace should give Charlaine Harris plenty of room and the assurance of a multi-book contract. This is the best tongue-in-cheek vampire story I have ever read.
Throughout True Blood’s six seasons, a lot has changed, but one thing remains constant: Sookie Stackhouse is irresistible. From day one, she’s always been in a relationship and/or had a slew.
And Pam does use it, mostly to force Tara to start living life as a vampire. And then we get the tamest sex scene ever on HBO. Artfully cutting away from the titties? Joe was presumably naked and you did not show it. Shame on you, HBO, shame on you. Hopefully that case stays closed. I love how they zoomed in on the Honda logo just before it did so. This lady was wearing neither a pantsuit nor a headband, I have my doubts about your nicknaming abilities, Arlene.

On last week’s episode of “True Blood,” the gang found Russell Edgington, alive and well. Spoilers from here on. Russell advances on Sookie, but she manages to “blast” him away from her with her fairy powers. Eric is on the verge of killing Russell when the Authority army shows up to take him back to their headquarters — alive. Suspiciously, they also kill all the witnesses who might identify the female vampire who freed Russell in the first place.
Bill pretends to glamor Sookie and gives her a “goodbye forever” speech.
Jul 09, · short clip from “We’ll Meet Again” episode. I do not own this clip, it belongs to HBO.
Her entire line was a struggle. They should have done more with Eric and Pam. Season 5 threw me off the show for about 3 years. I couldn’t watch it again until about because it took that long for me to forget why I stopped. I read the fourth and fifth book several years ago and I don’t remember Tara being a huge factor. As far as her tv portrayal, she could never win. Her momma was shit, her love life was shit, just everything was always trouble for her.
Also, they should have let her and Jason hook up. I thought something was going to come of it when they kissed but that was after his simple ass killed Eggs which is a whole other shit storm to discuss. I loved Eric and Pam and they just completely ruined their relationship. Also, I wasn’t a big fan of how Eric turned Pam. When they showed the flashback, she cut her wrists and then he turned her. He was seemingly “forced” to make her his progeny.

Top stories Sookie is the bait in this trap. Reverend Daniels calls it out: All the characters act out of love and sometimes lust, but even the good guys are going to need more than blind faith in each other to survive. Spoilers below, so consider yourself warned. Lee Rose Sarah Newland grabs some wine for her guru lover.
It’s been nearly 10 years since True Blood’s vampires came out of the coffin, exposing Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) and her Bon Temps neighbors to a whole new supernatural world.
This episode was nothing but, progressing each storyline quickly and realistically um, for “True Blood”. We’re back where we left off, with Eric killing Sookie’s fairy godmother. Apparently, fairy blood makes vampires act as though they downed too many Jager shots, so Eric’s all wily and flirty and prone to pinch Sookie ont he butt. Then he runs away, all drunk and such, which leads Sookie to call on Alcide to werewolf-track him down.
Eric is finally sent home after he starts to burn up in the sun. Cue an awkward “friendly” goodbye between Alcide and Sookie. Cue Debbie Pelt claiming she’s not worried about Alcide hanging with Sooks again liar! Cue Bill coming over to Sookie’s looking for Eric and not voicing his lingering feelings for his old love, who lies about Eric’s whereabouts. Look, the love triangle rectangle thingy has been a cornerstone of “True Blood,” but I’m sort-of ready for things to settle down amongst Sookie and her manpanions.
Nice stuff in this episode, but will we have to continue seeing if Sookie and Eric will kiss they very nearly did this time around, no doubt because of the quote of Eric’s I mentioned in the beginning of this?

Well, here it is. We can thank Maryann Forrester for the outdoor, citywide sex parties of season two. She turns out to be a maenad, or a female follower of the Greek god Dionysus, who can’t seem to help herself from making other people have sex. But things get a little more freaky than usual in this scene from season five when he gets into a passionate love-making sesh with a new character, Nora. You later find out she’s his vampire “sister,” making this quite possibly the hottest incest you’ve ever seen.
That is, until she returns for a round of apology-sex Not that we’re complaining, since their packmaster is the tall, dark, and handsome Alcide, played by Joe Manganiello. For a long time we were hoping he and Sookie to get together and do the deed, but in season five we got something even better: Alcide knockin’ paws with fellow werewolf, Rikki. Apparently vampires aren’t the only ones that know how to screw. Jason and Jessica in the Back of the Truck Jessica brings a lot to the table: We loved her with mama’s boy, Hoyt, but if you wanted to see her naked, it had to be with Jason — because, duh.
Eric Sex-Murders Talbot And no, we don’t mean murders him figuratively cause the sex is so great. We mean, he seduces his enemy’s lover and then stabs him in the heart with a wooden stake mid-nailing him from behind.
